Though bruised and braced, an injured left shoulder hardly prevented Candace Parker from hoisting that championship trophy on high for one last time.

Parker scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help Tennessee capture its eighth NCAA women's basketball title with a 64-48 victory over Stanford on Tuesday night. The Lady Vols also became the first repeat champs since Connecticut won three straight from 2002 to 2004.

Mario Chalmers hit a 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds left in regulation to push the game into overtime, and Kansas grinded it out from there for a 75-68 victory Monday night over Memphis in one of the best title games in recent memory.

I had hopes that Memphis might become the only NCAA team to ever have the most wins and to win the championship, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Nice run Memphis, see u next year.

According to sources close to the situation, the 6-foot-6 forward has decided to transfer.

King, who averaged 5.5 points and two rebounds this season while averaging 9.7 minutes per game, will likely wind up at either Gonzaga or Villanova — two schools he was considering before he committed to Duke.

The Pacific 10 has 6 teams in:
UCLA, Stanford, WSU, USC, Arizona, Oregon
For all those Arizona State fans strenth of schedule was apparently not there.

Big 10 has 4 teams in:
Wisconsin, Michigan State, Indiana & Purdue

ACC has 4 teams in:
North Carolina, Duke, Clemson, Miami

SEC has 6 teams in:
Tennessee, Vandy, Miss St., Kentucky, Arkansas & Georgia
No snubs Florida played cup cakes all year

Big 12 has 6 teams in:
Baylor, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M & Kansas St

Big East has 8 teams in:
Georgetown, Louisville, UCONN, Notre Dame, Villanova, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Marquette
Syracuse did not get snubbed, they did not handle their business on the court, period.

Mid Majors has Drake, Xavier, St Josephs, Butler

WCC has 3 teams in
Gonzaga, San Diego & St Marys
